LUXURY lifestyle provider Damac Properties has awarded three more contracts for work to begin on site at projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Enabling works contracts have been awarded for the company’s Harbour Heights project in Abu Dhabi and at its Suburbia development at Downtown Jebel Ali while the enabling works contract at Damac Heights has restarted.
The contract for Harbour Heights has been awarded to National Dewatering and Drainage Services and commencement of work on site will mark the third project that Damac has under way in Abu Dhabi, following enabling works that are already in progress at its Marina Bay and Oceanscape developments in the city.
Harbour Heights is located on Al Reem Island at Marina Rise overlooking the waterfront.
It is one of the few residential towers in a prime business district. The 41-storey tower will offer a range of apartments from studio to three-bedroom, along with duplexes on the higher floors.
Commenting on the awarding of the Harbour Heights contract Ziad El Chaar, general manager – operations – Damac Properties, said: “Harbour Heights will offer a great location for residents and combines an iconic design with state-of-the-art leisure and recreational facilities. Its position at the heart of a business district means that a balance of working and relaxation can be easily merged.”
In addition to this contract, a second enabling works order has been issued to National Piling for the company’s Suburbia project in Dubai at Downtown Jebel Ali.
Suburbia is a combination of apartments and townhouses based on Moroccan-style architecture.
The project will be located at the heart of the new Downtown Jebel Ali area with shops and restaurants nearby and with easy access to the new Metro stations.
Work is due to commence shortly and will include site clearance, shoring and foundation preparation and excavation.
Meanwhile, at Damac Heights in the Dubai Marina, Zetas has restarted works following a delay due to a redesign.
With these latest contracts, Damac has now awarded seven contracts over the last three months.
