AC FEREOS Import and Export, a Cyprus-based manufacturer of building machinery,  will launch its services on the region’s market as part of its global expansion strategy when it makes its debut at gulfBID.

The company, which has newly appointed Al Khunaizi Companies Group as its representative in Bahrain, will be introducing three spray machines and a concrete mixer with a diesel engine at the expo. These include the PS 3000, the PS 180 and AF 1 spray machines, and the CM1 concrete mixer
Commenting on the company’s performance, sales manager for AC Fereos Lordy Radu says: “Our business has been growing year on year, and our products are recognised for their quality. Until last year, we were only an import and export company but this year, we have diversified into the manufacturing business.”
The company currently manufactures building machinery, such as spray machines and concrete mixers with diesel engines.
“We also have a large portfolio of products including plastering machines, small machines, hand tools and crane forks accessories,” Radu adds.
Elaborating on the products that the company will promote at gulfBID, he says: “The PS 3000 is a complete and compact workstation, which combines high performance, maximum reliability and unique functionality with low costs. The chassis of this spray machine is mounted on rubber tyres and features a shock absorber system. It comes either with an electric motor or diesel engine.
Other features of the machine include a gear box with a three-speed level pulley, a double piston pump, a 200-litre-capacity mixer, and a restoration hopper under the mixer with a mixing system to keep the contents in a fluid condition.
With a two-cylinder air compressor, the pump sprays at the rate of 400 litres/min. The compressor can also be used for operating a spray jet to clean the machine after use and pneumatic hammers to remove old and dry plaster. The spray gun comes with different hole-size nozzles to suit the grain size of the pumping material.
The PS 3000 is also equipped with a remote control feature to start and stop the machine and a safety device which shuts down the machine automatically in case of overpressure.
The PS 180 is the universal worm gear pump for pumping, spraying, traditional injecting of ready-mixed concrete, masonry, insulation, cementitious material, fibre, adhesive material and almost all types of mortars and plasters and floor screeds of up to 6 mm grain, to a height of up to 50 m. It has an output capacity of 80 litres/min.
“Equipped with a powerful 13 hp Mitsubishi petrol engine, it is ideal for users who don’t have a 400 V connection available,” says Radu.
The PS 180 is also available with a single-phase 220 V and a three-phase 400 V geared motor, with a frequency converter for easy and precise output adjustment according to the application and the type of material. The pump can be filled from buckets, silos, horizontal mixers and almost any kind of concrete mixers. A complete series of accessories and spraying guns for different applications and materials is also available.
“The PS 180 offers several advantages such as reliability; minimum maintenance and low service cost; suitability for a wide range of applications; a built-in air compressor; and a large output,” he continues. “It is ideal for large and small-scale applications, and can be easily operated even by inexperienced users. Its small size makes it easy to transport and it also comes with a remote control feature.”
Turning to the third spray machine, he says that AF 1 is a new kind of transfer pump. “By combining perfect and advanced design with excellent techniques, this type of mortar machine set ensures reliable and outstanding work performance. It also greatly improves productivity, as it is easy to carry and maintain.
“The AF 1 is suitable for materials less than 4 mm, such as mortar that can be pumped, putty, paint, and coating material.”
CM1 concrete mixer has 350-litre capacity. It is fitted with a diesel engine and has four wheels for easy transportation.
About the company’s future plans, Radu says: “Having embarked into manufacture, we will be looking at enhancing our company’s profile even further by expanding our range and at promoting them the world over.”
AC Fereos considers the GCC region as a prime market for its products, which are sold in several countries through its agents. In Cyprus alone, it has a client list that includes around 600 contractors. “We also have partnerships to promote our products in Greece, Italy, China, Middle East, Germany and other countries,” says Radu.
The firm will exhibit at Stand No 1C21.
