DUBAI-BASED Alp Emirates Panel Manufacturing, a manufacturer of prefabricated HVAC duct panels, will be introducing the ALPactive and Alp round system onto the Gulf markets when it makes its debut at this year’s gulfBID.

The company is a subsidiary of Alp of Italy, a leading manufacturer of aluminium pre-insulated ducting systems and the developer of ALPactive, the silver-base natural antimicrobial technology.
ALP Emirates was set up in the UAE last year with its headquarters in Dubai and a production office in Abu Dhabi.
Speaking about the company, Roshan K Roy, regional sales manager of Alp Emirates, says: “Alp is involved in the manufacture of prefabricated HVAC duct panels — popularly known as the Alp system — which are used for duct fabrication. An energy-saving and efficient system, it promises to cut down on time and labour. The product is used in all commercial and residential projects, including hospitals and airports.”
He says Alp remains the leader in this technology due to its uncompromised quality and consistent delivery.
The Alp system can be used for any HVAC application ranging from offices to shopping malls, from swimming pools to hotels and clean rooms and are installed either indoor or outdoor.
For certain applications like food processing, pharmaceutical or hospitals, the Alp system can be enhanced with ALPactive antimicrobial technology.
Commenting on its participation at gulfBID, Roy says: “Our product enjoys popularity in the region and we wish to create greater aware of our regional presence. At gulfBID we will be promoting Alp products including the Alp system, ALPactive for hospitals and the Alp round system.”
The round system is an evolution of the pre-insulated ducting, being an ideal combination of design with high technical performance.
To increase its market penetration, Alp recently appointed Flexair, Bahrain, as its exclusive agent for the distribution and fabrication of its products in the kingdom.
Alp has supplied to major projects including Mall of the Emirates, Emirates Towers, many buildings within the Jumeirah Lake Towers and Dubai Marina.
The company will display its products at Stand No 1E 72.
