France-based Arma Plus, which makes its debut at the Big 5 show, will introduce its software for the rebar and mesh industry at stand 4C 150 at the French pavilion.

The company, which claims to have developed the first computer solution for the rebar industry in 1984, says that this product has become a standard software throughout the world for managing rebar production on yard as well as on site.

Says project executive Thierry Forget: "Leading international companies in the rebar sector have trusted our professional Arma Plus solutions and the company is now keen to offer its expertise in the Middle East.
"We offer software and consultancy services to organisations and are seriously considering the Middle East market for growth.

The company has already made successful forays into the UAE market with Bildco Company being its first customer. It is also planning to appoint a new agent for the Middle East market.
Arma Plus, which was established at Saint Herblain, France, today employs about 20 staff and has recorded a turnover of $3 million, says Forget.

It has achieved a growth of 15 per cent when compared to the same period last year.
Adds Forget: "There is a good market for our products and services in the rebar and the mesh industry and we have rencently added on a new customer - Laing O'Rourke on the T5 at Heathrow - for our new Arma Plus solutions using latest technologies."
