UK-based Handles and Fittings (Haf) - considered a pioneer in the design, manufacture and use of architectural door hardware and allied fittings - will make its debut at this month's Big 5 show to present a range of designs has been widely specified and supplied to the hospitality, commercial and industrial sectors across the globe, according to the company.

Haf also plans to introduce new lever handle designs and fittings in various finishes including bronze, at the construction expo.

Over the years, Haf has developed a range of coordinated bathroom and electrical accessories that complement their lever and pull-handle designs thereby achieving continuity throughout the interior.
The company supplies developments worldwide. In Dubai, many of the prominent buildings feature Haf ironmongery. The Jumeirah Beach and Burj Al Arab Hotels benefit from Flare door furniture and bathroom accessories. 'Haf was specified on the basis of its range of modern coordinated fittings available, together with the defining characteristics of design, in summary - the simple, clean modern appearance,' she says.

The Dusit Dubai Hotel also features handles and allied fittings from Haf and again it was the company's product quality, design and the ability to adapt their products to function with the hotels locking system that helped it to clinch the deal, she says.
Haf accessories also have been used at the VIP and VVIP lounges of Dubai airport where the heads of state and royalty visiting Dubai are greeted.

'The designer wanted to achieve a distinct appearance from the rest of the new airport terminal and chose Haf for its quality and reliability, says Simpson.
