Driven by an urge to expand globally, Girpi - a French company specialised in the injection of plastic fittings and accessories - is seeking distributors for its products in the region.

The company will present its entire product range for conveying fluids - hot and cold - at this month's Big 5 show.

Girpi was founded in 1971 and has been a part of the multinational Etex Group since 1984, which is one of the world's leading manufacturers of injected plastic pipe systems.
Kryoclim, one of Girpi's products, is extensively used in conveying cold and hot fluids. Manufactured using HPF resin - a material possessing excellent physio-chemical qualities at very low temperatures - the product offers several advantages in secondary refrigeration and indirect air-conditioning systems.

'Meeting the requirements for these applications, Kryoclim guarantees the absence of corrosion, low condensation and low coolant losses. With excellent shock resistance at low coolant temperatures, Kryoclim also ensures that systems are leak-free. Thanks to its lightweight, ease of handling and assembly using chemical cold welding, the system can be fitted simply and quickly,' says a company spokesman.

The technique of indirect cooling is increasingly being employed in the commercial and industrial refrigeration fields, particularly in centralised air-conditioning systems, he adds.

With a wide range of pipes, with diameters ranging from 20 to 160 mm, fittings and accessories suitable for fitting to existing equipment, the Kryoclim system is suitable for all refrigeration and air-conditioning installations with indirect cooling from -30 deg C to 40 deg C using chilled water, glycols, potassium formate and several other fluids.

Girpi has a research and development department for the most technical fields of fluids ducting: compressed air, pressurized hot and cold fluids, and also a logistic department for short delivery time.

Girpi's products are used in the conveying of pressurised fluids and air for hot and cold water plumbing, conveying chilled fluids, air conditioning, conveying compressed air, potable water and also in pressureless systems for waste water drainage, rainwater drainage and collecting rainwater.
