
Cocif, a leading Italian producer of doors and windows, will promote its prestigious door lines that include doors for hotels, hospitals and flats at its maiden presentation at the Big 5 show.
Export manager Matteo Pederiva says: "Cocif has a manufacturing output of 200,000 doors and 150,000 window-frames per year at its 80,000 sq m production facility in Longiano Italy.''
He continues: ''The company's products range from classical and contemporary design doors to the special fire-rated and soundproof doors for hotels and hospitals. In addition, our doors offer includes highly prestigious collections designed exclusively for Cocif by designers such as Ettore Sottsass and internationally-famed architects as Gae Aulenti.''
Cocif, which was established in 1945, has grown over the years to have a staff strength of 350 and a turnover of $62 million.
Adds Pederiva: "Our business has been improving year on year. Cocif has been strengthening its position in the domestic market and spreading out to the export markets extending from Eastern Europe to Russia and from the Mediterranean to the Far East."
"We now intend to enter the Gulf and American markets. There are good prospects for the construction industry in the Arabian Gulf where increasing importance is being given to high-quality building and interior products. We are interested in all the markets in the region where are products will be promoted for the first time. The UAE is going to become a strategic market for our products," he says.
