A trade mission consisting of 19 UK companies involved in the building, construction and telecom sectors will be visiting Dubai during this year's Big 5 show.

The mission has been arranged by the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with and supported by Trade Partners UK.

Chamber member Judy O'Dowd says: 'In addition to the many British companies exhibiting at the Big 5 we are delighted that many more companies, mainly small to medium enterprises (SMEs), have signed up for our mission. This is a strong indication of the confidence that UK companies have in Dubai and the region. Many of our mission members are looking for partners in the UAE and would be pleased to meet with potential agents, distributors or joint venture partners.'

The members also have plans of visiting Abu Dhabi for a day.
