UK-based Marley Plumbing and Drainage will exhibit Equator, a hot and cold plumbing system at the Big 5 show.

Equator is a push-fit system with a unique grip release mechanism making the system secure yet if need be, easy to dissemble for renovations or re-fits.

With the significant advantages of PE-X technology, Marley's latest product establishes a new benchmark in performance, backed by a 30-year guarantee, says a spokesman for the company.

'PE-X has long been the established choice for pipework and underfloor heating systems,' he says. It provides excellent chemical resistance, long-term durability, outstanding performance, and is easy to install. Marley has now advanced the technology, to provide the best hot and cold systems for general plumbing applications.

Advances include a range of PE-X moulded fittings, featuring marine-grade 316 stainless steel end-caps that enable fittings to withstand pressure and end loading well exceeding the British Standard.'

The PE-X pipe is lightweight, easy to work on site and comes in straight-coiled technology. It is also available in pre-cut lengths. The ease and flexibility of Equator makes it quicker to install than copper, though completely compatible with copper.

A significant component within the range is the Equator Manifold system - a central connection point for all appliances. The Equator range is available in diametres of 10, 15, 22 and 28 mm.
