A two-day conference will be held in Doha, Qatar, next month to highlight the emerging project developments in the energy and non-energy sectors of Qatar.

The conference entitled 'Major New Project Opportunities in Qatar' will be held at the Ritz Carlton during January 14 and 15.

The event will present a panel of senior officials and business leaders to explore the vast range of new project developments available. Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Qatar's Minister of Energy and Industry and chairman of the board of directors and managing director of Qatar Petroleum, and Ali bin Saad Al-Kuwari, Minister of Municipal Affairs And Agriculture are the keynote speakers.

The event will feature expert speakers from companies including: Qatar Chemical Company (Q-Chem II) project, Civil Aviation Authority, Doha Asian Games Organising Committee and Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa).

The conference is organised by EMAP, the publishers of MEED magazine.
