
Middle East Foundations has played a crucial role in ensuring that the buildings which constitute phase 1-B of Dubai Internet City are on a sound footing.
The Dubai-based foundation engineering firm installed all the foundation pipes for the Microsoft, Oracle and IBM buildings. The scope of works on the three buildings included installing 509 piles of diameter 60 cm and 118 piles of diameter 75 cm, driven to a depth of 14.5 m, within a contact period of 60 days, according to Aidroos Hassan, partner and managing director of Middle East Foundations Group.
