CORODEX Industries, a part of the Concorde-Corodex Group (CCG) and the M H Al Mana Group of Companies, has successfully installed a biological odour control unit at the DS-191 lifting station in Dubai International City (DIC), highlighting the use of innovative bio-friendly technology that seeks to remove harmful contaminants in air streams via the use of sulphur-oxidising bacteria and other types of friendly bacteria.

The DS-191 unit, developed along with Corodex’s Canada-based partner Biorem, is powered by technology that can eliminate odorous air coming from sources such as wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations and lifting stations.

CCG has also successfully installed a fully automatic and monitored vacuum sewerage collection system for the Umm Al Quwain Marina development project by Emaar, a luxury residential project in Umm Al Quwain. The project was completed in a record six months.
