BIDS to develop a new community centre in Khalifa City B in Abu Dhabi will be invited shortly by the Abu Dhabi Municipality, as part of plans to build a large-scale network of community centres offering multiple shopping options to the community.
It will be funded, built and operated in partnership with the private sector, based on the build-operate-transfer (BOT) model. The community centre will be one of 12 residential district centres offering various services as well as shopping and entertainment facilities conforming to the highest international standards.
The project is expected to be completed in December next year.
