Snowkey equipment ... cost competitive.

KiCE, which markets construction equipment in Saudi Arabia, has played a key role in helping Snowkey’s expansion in Saudi Arabia, where the Chinese principal has witnessed a 300 per cent increase in sales.

The three-year partnership between the companies has, in turn, had a positive impact on Saudi Arabia’s construction market, according to Dennis Wayn, Snowkey Middle East sales manager.

“KiCE has played an important role in launching Snowkey’s business in the Saudi market, and has not spared any financial and operational effort to support this partnership. Its sales team has vast experience in operating and maintaining Snowkey equipment, thus helping garner the confidence of customers,” he said.

According to Wayn, Snowkey has benefited from the marketing strategies developed by KiCE, which has an in-depth knowledge of the local market, and hence enabled Snowkey to strengthen its business in the Saudi market.

“We attribute our success to our high-quality products that are also competitively priced. We also focus on research and development of our equipment and import 85 per cent of our spare parts from the US, Europe and Japan,” Wayn said.

To support its clients in the kingdom, Snowkey ensures that the spare parts for its products are available across the kingdom, said Shaheen Ayash, Snowkey product manager at KiCE.

He said that Snowkey products are cost-competitive, the cost of maintenance is low and they have a well-developed cooling system, which reduces emissions by 30 per cent. “Thanks to the teamwork of both companies, Snowkey is now the leader in Saudi Arabia and the Number Two worldwide in the concrete cooling industry,” he added.
