AL ANDALUS Holding Company has recently bolstered its partnership with 3M International by opening a first-of-its-kind showroom in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in co-operation with the US multinational conglomerate to promote its high-quality industrial products.

The inauguration of the showroom in the heart of the old industrial area of Riyadh last December was attended by key players from the construction and industrial sectors and the media.

3M was among the three key agencies that Al Andalus signed up recently, the other two being Geze of Germany for automatic doors and Fapim of Italy, a leader in door and window accessories.

These partnerships come in line with Al Andalus’ strategic plan to introduce a number of industrial concepts and solutions and expand its well-diversified portfolio, which has helped it achieve impressive growth levels.

According to managing director Marwan Al Ibrahim, the Saudi-based Al Andalus Holding Company that has been registering year-on-year growth levels of 40 per cent.

“The last few years have seen significant growth levels in our turnover,” said Al Ibrahim.

“In the last three years alone, we have seen year-on-year growth levels of 40 per cent each year and we are expecting to boost our performance even further this year.”

Al Andalus’ SR90-million ($24 million) investment in its extrusion facility in Dammam is paying off and is expected to contribute to the company’s growth in a big way.

“Our extrusion facility in Dammam will boost our production capability with the introduction of a second press with powder coating and anodising facilities,” said Al Ibrahim.

“We started our glass lamination line last year and are now the biggest in the region,” he added.

The company has been able to achieve these growth levels despite significant competition, thanks to its superior level of customer support backed by product knowledge and qualified engineering expertise, according to Al Ibrahim.

“We have become the leading supplier for every kind of glass requirement and as part of future plans we are looking to create a hypermarket for construction materials related to aluminium and glass, providing customers with the widest possible choice including relevant accessories.”

Al Andalus Group now operates from 40 branches established since the business was founded 40 years ago. With more than 1,000 employees, the group comprises eight divisional companies including Al Andalus Glass, Talia’h Trading and Industrial Company, Al Safa Aluminium and Granada Aluminium facilities.
