SUNDUS Investments Projects has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rotana Hotel Management Company to develop a four-star Sundus Rotana by Rotana Hotels & Resorts in a hospitality complex taking shape at Airport Heights in Bausher, Muscat, Oman.

Located in close proximity to the airport and the city, Sundus Rotana is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2015. It will merge contemporary lines with Omani traditional architecture. The interior will reflect modern overtones, with a dominant palette of desert colours.

Sundus Rotana will have 245 guest rooms, which will span across four floors, ranging from standard to suite. The lobby level will feature a shopping avenue retailing a comprehensive mix of brands ranging from fashion accessories to jewellery and much more. The property will additionally host fine dining options, a ballroom, one executive boardroom and seven conference rooms. Leisure facilities will include a spa, pool, a fitness centre, in addition to steam, Jacuzzi, sauna and massage rooms.
