ASHGHAL, Qatar’s Public Works Authority (PWA), has appointed a joint venture between Mace and EC Harris to deliver a major programme of social infrastructure building projects across the country.
The five-year contract worth QR415 million ($113 million) can be extended for a further two years. The joint venture team of EC Harris and Mace has been appointed as programme management consultant (PMC) to undertake the programme management of building projects in association and coordination with the PWA and their appointed consultants and contractors.
The team will undertake all the programme management activities required for planning, procurement and management of the design, supervision and construction contracts for various projects types including education, sports, tourism, healthcare and recreational facilities and ports and waterfront development.
