bauma China 2006, the third international event for building and building materials machines, construction vehicles and building, will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) in China from 21 to 24 November this year.
“From an outstanding debut in 2002, bauma 2006 has established itself as the industry’s most important trade fair in the Chinese market and is currently the largest construction trade fair in Asia,” says Henrike Burmeister, communication manager of Messe München, one of the world's leading trade-fair companies.
“Around 738 exhibitors in 2004 showcased a complete range of construction and building material machines to 50,000 visitors and this year more than 900 exhibitors have already applied to present their products, which means 22 per cent more than the last edition,” he adds.
The trade fair is expected to occupy an impressive 140,000 sq m, which is 40,000 sq m larger than the last event at the SNIEC – one of the most modern trade fair centers in Asia – and will be an ideal meeting place and marketing platform for all key players of the construction and building industry. The exhibition is being organised by Germany-based Messe München.
