Having introduced cutting-edge audiovisual installation and integration technologies and applications for both residential and commercial projects, Install 2006, part of the Palme, the Middle East’s professional sound, light, music, audiovisual and systems integration exhibition, will feature the world’s top manufacturers and technology leaders when it opens at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre this month (April 23 to 25).

“Install has expanded dramatically, and will this year occupy over 40 per cent of the total floor space. Over 95 per cent of last year’s exhibitors have rebooked, the majority with expanded stands, and this is clear evidence of the effectiveness of the show,” says Darren Brechin, group exhibitions director, Entertainment & Installation Technology Group, IIR Exhibitions.
Install 2006 will also feature for the first time, a special architectural lighting and interior illumination zone – with the focus on permanent and temporary lighting installations for all types of buildings and events featuring breathtaking creative inspiration and specialised industry seminars.
The global leaders exhibiting at Install this year have impeccable international pedigrees. Lutron, for example, is the world’s only company that provides an integrated solution for controlling both natural daylight as well as electrical lighting. Martin Architectural, which has won many international awards for projects that include Dubai’s International Airport and the BT Tower in London, is also among the exhibitors.
Crestron, known for advanced control and automation systems, will unveil a significant number of recent product innovations at the event. Tannoy – one of the longest established audio companies with over 75 years experience – will be displaying a wide selection of loudspeakers and amplifiers that cater to varied uses.
Other expected big industry names at Install include IC audio, Bosch Security Systems, Osram, Element Labs, E-Vision UK, Linn, Loewe, Arcam, Phillips Vidiwall, beyer dynamic (GB) Ltd., Macina Interactive Media, Sennheiser and Martin Audio.
