Kirby set to open second India plant

Kirby Building Systems affiliate in India – Kirby India – will soon inaugurate its second plant at Haridwar, Uttaranchal in India, according to Marwan Karadsheh, vice president of the manufacturing group of Alghanim Industries, the parent company of Kirby.

The new plant, which boasts of state-of-the-art equipment and machinery, was accomplished in a record time of seven months.
“The 30,000 sq m facility will have a production capacity of 50,000 m per annum, and will cover the construction needs of the northern Indian market,” said Karadsheh,
This new plant will add to the capacities of Kirby India’s first plant established in 2000 at Pashamylaram in Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh and the company’s main plant in Kuwait.
“This makes Kirby, a pioneer in pre-engineered steel buildings in the Middle East and India, one of the largest manufacturers in the industry,” he adds.
The company’s extensive product range covers high-quality steel buildings, light gauge buildings, guard rails, sandwich panels, industrial racking systems, space frames and decking systems.
