

AlArabi Decoration and Construction Company’s sound reputation for quality and high standards of workmanship in the fields of finishing and decoration is ensuring that its name continues to be associated with most of the prestigious projects under way in the kingdom.
Among the most recent projects that the company has embellished with its gypsum-based decorative works and luxurious finishes and textures include the Jeddah Hilton Palace, considered to the largest hotel in the kingdom, and the Al Corniche Hotel and Westin Hotel.
The high-specification Jeddah Hilton Palace project, which is said to have utilised only the best materials during its construction programme, includes 46 luxury suites and 410 rooms within its 10 levels.
The Al Corniche Hotel and Westin Hotel, also in Jeddah, is the centrepiece of a large commercial and residential complex along the corniche.
For the Corniche Hotel, AlArabi carried out all the gypsum decoration work on the walls and the ceilings in the public and private areas.
AlArabi is currently involved in the decoration works for Dhahran Shopping City, a super-deluxe complex in the Eastern Province as well as for several Louis Vuitton shops in Dubai, UAE.
The Dhahran Shopping City will be among the biggest malls in the kingdom for which the company is currently working on the vaulted decorative gypsum false ceilings.
“Our services are remarkably popular in the finishing and decoration markets for palaces, hotels and luxury villas,” claims Renato Zimmerman, the general manager of the Jeddah-based company.
The Saudi interior decoration specialist, which started operations in 1982, has grown steadily becoming one of the largest finishing and decoration firms in the Middle East.
The company has recently been restructured to make it stronger and more focused, with well-defined areas of specialisation in gypsum-based decorative works as well as in special and artistic paintings.
Following its restructuring, the new firm continues to exert every effort to live up to its sound reputation and offers an enhanced portfolio of services which is aimed at attracting major construction companies, owners of villas and palaces and consulting firms in the region and abroad, according to Zimmerman.
AlArabi is now gearing up to meet the demands that it anticipates in the wake of a surge in tourism projects in the kingdom.
“With the recent moves made by Saudi Arabia towards the development and diversification of is tourism industry, a large number of luxury hotels and more modern commercial complexes are being built in the kingdom’s largest cities,” says Zimmerman.
