LEBANON-based Chabros will make its debut at the SaudiBuild exhibition this year after the opening of its branch Modern Veneer Establishment (MVE) in Riyadh recently.
The establishment, a member of the Italian-Lebanese joint venture Chabros group, will be introducing its new wide range of natural veneers, inlays, marquetry and accessories in the Saudi Arabian market for the first time.
Chabros was established in the sixties with its headquarters in Beirut and today operates branches in Dubai (UAE), Doha (Qatar) and Cairo (Egypt), besides Riyadh. Each branch stocks nearly 1 million sq m of veneers to ensure a reliable supply to its customers, making the company one of the leading suppliers of natural decorative veneers and timbers in the Gulf and Middle East region.
"We have a complete assorted stock of exotic veneer in our stores, imported directly from their countries of origin all around the world," says Nassif El Lakkis, who is in charge of MVE's business development department. "In addition to veneers and timbers, we also supply thermal glue and decorative inlays.
Moreover, our marquetry department produces the most sophisticated and artistic tailor made designs. With us, woodworking becomes an art of its own."The company has supplied its products for several major projects in the Gulf, including leading hotels, palaces, villas, towers, clubs and other prestigious buildings.
Lakkis says business is expanding for the company in the region and Chabros is looking to spread to new territories in the future.
The MVE products will be on display at stand 625.
