Saudi steel fabricator Al Bayda Steel will be aiming to build on what it describes as "satisfactory response" at previous SaudiBuild shows at this year's event.
The Riyadh-based company will promoting its range of hollow metal doors and steel profiles at SaudiBuild 2002.
Plant manager M K Abdul Gafoor says the cross-section of visitors at the Saudi Arabia's leading construction industry show was a major appeal for his company. He says the response to the company's previous participation in 2000 and 2001 had been satisfactory.
The company reports better business this year and Gafoor says it has increased production capacity at its plant by adding new machines.
Established in 1981, the company manufactures hollow metal doors for commercial, institutional and industrial buildings; steel profiles for ceiling systems, dry wall partitioning systems and other applications; expanded metal lath of various types and sizes, used to reinforce wall plastering; and special fabrication works such as storage tanks, containers and other applications as required by the customer.
Al Bayda Steel has emerged as a strong force in the market after attaining ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance certification in July 2001.
"Al Bayda Steel has been actively supporting the construction and industrial sectors in the Kingdom and other Gulf states over the last two decades with high-quality products," says Gafoor.
The company has an experienced and dedicated staff of 70 running all its operations, from design and production to marketing and sales and general administration. Its production facility is situated in the Second Industrial Area of Riyadh and has an area of 8,000 sq m.
The company's range of hollow metal doors are manufactured to various international standards such as ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials), BS (British Standard), NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and SDI (Steel Door Institute).
Al Bayda Steel has a well-equipped production facility capable of undertaking medium to large projects.
The roll-forming section produces various steel profiles - such as the framework for dry wall partitions (studs and runners), sections for gypsum ceiling work (furring channels, C-channels and angles), T-grid sections for suspended acoustic ceiling systems and other standard profiles - all made out of high-grade galvanised steel coils.
Its expanded metal lath products are widely accepted in the local and Gulf markets.
Its special fabrication division is capable of handling major fabrication and installation works to customer requirements.
Al Bayda Steel will be at this year's SaudiBuild at stand 905.
