Leading Saudi equipment distributor Aljomaih will be rolling out its diverse range of products at next month's SaudiBuild in Riyadh.

The Aljomaih Heavy and Agricultural Equipment Division of Aljomaih Holding Company is a distributor of a full range of construction, industrial and agricultural equipment from some of the leading manufacturers such as Fiat-Allis, TCM, Merlo, Iveco Aifo, MTU, Perkins, Tacom, Claas, New Holland, Nardi, Sogema and Tume.

The division's general manager Abdullah Sulaiman Al Ali says the company has been taking part in the SaudiBuild for more than five years and the exhibition helps in increasing awareness of Aljomaih's product line-up.

He says this year the company will be promoting the various models of TCM forklifts (diesel, petrol, LPG and electric) including the Acroba forklift; 24 kVA to 450 kVA generator sets and 53 hp to 359 hp diesel engines from Iveco Aifo; panoramic telescopic handler from Merlo; Fiat-Allis wheel loader model W130; vibratory rollers, plate compacters and asphalt cutters from Tacom and Lebrero roller model VTA100.

Al Ali praised the planning and facilities at SaudiBuild which he says are good incentives for exhibitors.

"SaudiBuild seems to be the only prestigious yearly exhibition in our line of products in this marketing area," says Al Ali.

Commenting on business, he says, 2002 is turning out better than last year.

Al Ali says the domestic market is on an uptrend from the year 2000 after stagnating between 1997 and 1999.

Established in 1936, Aljomaih is a major player in the Kingdom's construction and agricultural equipment market. It serves its customers from its head office in Riyadh as well as branches across the Kingdom including at Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, Hail, Shaqra, Qassim, Sajer, Wadi Dawasir, Quria Olaya, Al Jouf, Tabuk and Khamis Mushayt.

The parent company employs about 2,500 people across its 12 divisions while 200 people work at the Aljomaih Heavy and Agricultural Equipment Division. Other divisions of Al Jomaih holding company represent General Motors, Pepsi-Cola, Shell and Yokohama Tires.

Aljomaih will promote its range of equipment at stand 6010.
