The Construction Materials Company (Comaco), one of Saudi Arabia's veteran suppliers to the building industry, will be exhibiting its range of quality Terrazzo tiles and other products at SaudiBuild 2002.
The Riyadh-based firm - which is part of the Saleh Al Mudayfer Investment Group - was established in 1972 and is currently marking three decades of service to the Kingdom.
"As we celebrate 30 years of success, Construction Materials Company would like to thank all its customers, suppliers and employees for their continued support," says group general manager Nasser Al Mofawez.
Other companies within the Al Mudayfer Group include a transport firm, a production facility for grinding stones used in the tile and marble industry and a manufacturing facility for cutting and grinding tools for the steel industry.
"When we launched operations we had one goal in mind: total customer satisfaction," explains Mofawez. "This has paid off and the company is today the leading manufacturer of terrazzo tiles and concrete blocks in the Middle East."
He continues: "Over the years, our employees have always been the key to our success. Their dedicated professionalism combined with a wealth of experience and high standard of productivity, has earned us a national reputation for producing high-quality reliable products. This, in turn, brings to every project an unmatched level of technical expertise, along with the latest in materials and installation techniques.
"Construction Materials Company today has the largest production capacity for tiles in the Middle East, in addition to other products such as masonry blocks, concrete pavers and kerb stones. We are also equipped with our own crusher unit where raw material for the tiles is manufactured and a factory that produces grinding stones for tiles. This ensures a reliable source of high-quality raw materials to meet our production requirements.
"Our financial strength, renowned reputation and a fleet of more than 120 trucks, which deliver materials round the clock, all assist in ensuring success for on-time completion of every project we undertake.
"Our production facilities are the most modern in the industry, with state-of-the-art computer-controlled machines throughout and all our products pass strict quality control measures such as ASTM and British standard (BS) tests before being released.
"In fact, the quality control and the research and development departments are the cornerstones of our production activities with products continuously being tested to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
"Our aim is to have controlled growth and we will achieve this by developing new products and human resources to meet the demand for first-class service, Al Mofawez adds.
