
Saudi Anfal Factory for Automatic Doors will be looking to make new business deals at SaudiBuild 2002, while also displaying its latest products and technology to visitors at the exhibition.
The Riyadh-based manufacturer and supplier is a regular exhibitor at SaudiBuild, which it holds in high esteem. "We exhibited at previous SaudiBuild events and had an excellent response from architects, engineers, contractors as well as building owners," says regional general director Monkez Alwani. "At this year's event, we will be focusing on further promoting our business and spotlighting new products and technology."
Established in 1990, Saudi Anfal Factory has its head office, manufacturing plant and warehouse in Riyadh. It has 49 branches offices as well as several sub-distributors within the Kingdom.
It also has two branch offices in the UAE (Dubai and Sharjah) and is looking at expanding its business to cover the entire Gulf region.
Saudi Anfal Factory manufactures roll-up doors under licence from Airport Doors of Australia and residential window shutters.
In, addition, the company is the dealer for top-of-the-line doors from Wayne-Dalton of the US, the Chamberlain Group of the US and the CAME of Italy.
It uses state-of-the-art machinery from SKB of Malaysia for the manufacture of its roll-up shutters, which are targeted at the commercial and project market.
"Our policy is to market genuine, top-quality products at reasonable prices," says Alwani. "We have a good marketing network well spread over the major cities in the Kingdom such as Jeddah, Dammam, Riyadh, Qassim, Makkah and Madinah, in addition to a number of other showrooms and over a dozen of licensed sub-distributors. In addition, we are looking at covering the Gulf region shortly."
The company undertakes a complete installation and maintenance service of all its products and commands a 50 per cent market share within Saudi Arabia, according to Alwani.
At this year's SaudiBuild, Saudi Anfal will be showing off a comprehensive line of automatic roll-up doors and shutters, window shutters and gates.
Saudi Anfal Factory's goal is to further boost its presence in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the region. Business this year has been slightly over last year's levels, according to Alwani.
"One of our key selling points is that we market ultra-modern, genuine products at reasonable prices, backed by a warranty of 10 years," he says. "Statistics bear witness to Saudi Anfal's success in the market, with over 190,000 satisfied customers."
"We have a special quality control team monitoring our production process and our customer support (maintenance) division is available round-the-clock."
The company believes in marketing only the very best, which is why it represents leading brands such as Wayne-Dalton, Chamberlain and the CAME, he says.
Major Saudi projects which the company has executed include a SR1.94 million ($517,000) contract for roll-up doors to the Bin Dayal Markets in Riyadh, a SR150,000 order for swing doors to the Passports Office in Riyadh, a SR153,000 contract for barriers to Saudi Railways and a SR432,000 deal for roll-up doors to Al-Rajhi Corporation in Riyadh.
In the UAE, the company has supplied sliding doors to the Dubai Police headquarters under a Dh46,000 ($12,530) contract, roll-up doors worth Dh50,000 to villas in Jumeirah, Dubai, roll-up doors worth Dh80,000 for a palace in Ras Al Khaimah, roll-up doors worth Dh27,000 to villas in Sharjah, sectional doors worth Dh90,000 for villas in Garhoud, and swing doors for the Yemen Consulate in Dubai, under a Dh30,000 contract.
