Techno Mix Sanitary UAE, which is aggressively marketing the group’s products in the UAE, is planning to showcase its new product range at the ISH Kitchen and Bathroom Gulf exhibition next month (May 15 to 17) as well as at Nakheel Suppliers’ Expo 2005 to be held in Dubai from June 5 to 7, in addition to its regular participation at the Big 5 show from November 16 to 20.
“Promotion and marketing are the most important tasks for us,” says Waddah Zarka, manager Techno Mix. “This is the reason why we are planning to introduce world-class quality products at the forthcoming expo. We have had a positive feedback from both consultants and developers who have shown a keen interest in our products and we are looking forward to explore all business avenues in this highly competitive market,” Zarka points out.
Part of the Chinawinds Group, Techno Mix acts as a selling and distribution outpost for the group which is a specialist in the manufacture of high-quality mixers, bathroom accessories, steam rooms, sauna baths, sanitary ware and massage bathtubs, among others.
In a relatively short span of time, the company has registered immense growth in the UAE.
“We have entered the market at the right time. We are not only doing well in the local market, but have substantial export orders from the North African region, Italy and UK. The efforts of our young team of professionals, spearheaded by experienced managers, have helped put the company on the right track from the very beginning,” he adds.
Techno Mix is responsible for sales and distribution operations in the Gulf including Saudi Arabia; North Africa, Italy and UK in Europe; and the US. The company has individual sales offices in a majority of the Gulf and Middle Eastern countries, he adds.
Chinawinds Group, which is engaged in diverse activities, produces sanitary products, building materials and plumbing items from its eight state-of-the-art factories that are located in various parts of China.
“The company’s production process is monitored to ensure the highest levels of quality so that the products meet the demanding European standards, the spokesman says.
“A few of the factories of the group directly coordinate with European manufacturers and receive technical assistance to ensure a top-of-the-line product range,” he adds.
Techno Mix deals in a wide variety of products including single lever and two-handle mixers, taps and faucets for bathrooms and kitchens, shower, steam, sauna; shower enclosures, massage baths, glass wash-basins; sanitary ware products (bathroom sets) and acce- ssories for bathrooms.
“We have an edge over competition not only because of our extensive product range but also for our ability to maintain huge stocks of quality products locally,” he explains.
“We have a fully-computerised warehousing facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone where we have a huge inventory of all the items produced by the group. This not only enables us to provide ex-stock, but also ensures timely delivery of goods anywhere in the UAE,” he explains.
“This is a price-conscious market. Techno Mix is not only provides products that are competitive in terms of pricing, but are top of the line. So far, we have received a very positive response from all quarters and the acceptability of our products is growing by the day,” Zarka concludes.
