Fadl A Al Ashey Contracting Establishment (Fad-Fix) is poised to open its new SR7 million ($1.86 million) marble factory in Jeddah this month.

Prince Khalid bin Faisal, the governor of Abha, will officially inaugurate the facility which will produce a range of marble products, says Eastern Province manager Iyad Fakhry. The new factory is part of the company's plans to diversify its range of products, he adds.

Fad-Fix is one of the leading firms engaged in the manufacture and supply of tile adhesives and cladding systems in Saudi Arabia.

It recently signed agreements appointing distributors in the Kingdom and in Dubai, Qatar and Bahrain.
