The Alkhobar Plaza is being given a SR14 million ($3.73 million) facelift that will be completed before the start of Ramadan. Work on the shopping mall began four months ago, a report said.

Located on Prince Bander Street in the heart of Al Khobar shopping district, Alkhobar Plaza opened in 1991.

The interior is being upgraded with redecoration of the ground floor entranceway, replacement of doors, mirrors and glasswork and changes in signage throughout the centre.
