AluServ gets Hyundai forklift
MOTORCITY, the sole distributor of Hyundai Heavy Industries Company in Bahrain, has handed over two units of Hyundai’s 16-tonne forklift to AluServ Middle East.
AluServ Middle East, which operates an aluminium dross processing facility at Askar, opted for the Hyundai forklift for its reliability, high performance and strong after-sales service, according to the company.
Arun Kumar, senior sales manager at Motorcity Commercial, said: “Hyundai is known for its innovation and strong specifications as well as its focus on operator comfort and low-maintenance cost, which has supported the popularity of Hyundai forklifts in the Bahrain market.”
Hyundai’s 16-tonne forklift is equipped with a fuel-efficient Cummins engine, fully-automatic transmission, air-conditioned cabin, load sensors, rear view camera, side shift and fork positioner.
Absal Paul wins $136m contracts
ABSAL Paul of Saudi Arabia has secured a number of contracts worth a total of $136 million, following its recent successes on high-profile projects such as the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), Halliburton, Boeing and General Electric (GE).
