RAK Ceramics has expanded its portfolio of wall tiles with several new collections, boosting its extensive array of ceramic offerings, which now comprises more than 8,000 products.
“The new wall tiles are inspired by nature, vintage embroidery, ornate patterns and contemporary art,” commented Abdulla Mahmood, general manager for marketing and corporate communications. “Each piece enhances the elegance of interiors and exteriors, adding charm, sophistication and elegance to a home’s decor.”
The new additions to the company’s range are:
• Autumn: These 25 cm by 70 cm tiles are adorned with floral motifs and come in six soothing shades. Inspired by autumn flowers, the tiles impart an elegant look to the bathroom environment;
• Gardina: These tiles feature contemporary floral patterns highlighted within contrasting colour windows, lending chic urbanism to interiors. Manufactured in 25 cm by 70 cm dimensions, the tiles are available in four distinct colours and two decors;
• Blossom: Inspired by the vibrant colours of blossoming flowers, this ceramic tile range is embossed with well-defined floral designs. The range is available in six vibrant colours and two decors, measuring 20 cm by 50 cm; and
• Ibiza: The surface of these tiles has been produced to create delicate and lustrous look. Offered in a wide range of pantone shades, the different mosaic options combine to create the perfect style statement, says Mahmood.
The Ras Al Khaimah-based firm, which is believed to be world’s largest ceramics manufacturer, has also introduced the Sheen Collection to accompany the Autumn range. Manufactured using the latest technology, this unique range of interior and exterior tiles incorporates subtle shades of gold in its delicate design, according to Mahmood. “This stylistic feature creates an interplay with light, whether natural or artificial, to produce a shimmering effect of precious metal.”

The Sheen Collection includes Morisia, Polar and Augusta tiles. Morisia comprises subtly shaded golden base tiles with sketches of bunches of golden flowers. The tiles, which add natural glamour to interiors, come in a sleek 25 cm by 70 cm format. The 30 cm by 60 cm Polar ceramic tile has been designed to provide the illusion that it has golden spheres embedded deep beyond its surface, says Mahmood, adding that the effect imparts a distinguished look to interior settings, making it the ideal element for luxury living.
“RAK Ceramics has established a well-earned reputation for offering a diverse range of ceramic products, many of them unique in the market place,” says Mahmood. The company has received plaudits for its ability to foresee the needs of the market by producing an eclectic array of products. Much of RAK Ceramics’ collections are engineered in collaboration with European designers to cater to international tastes in products that please both traditional and modern preferences.
