RECKLI, which starting producing special formliners in Saudi Arabia last year, will be at Saudi Build this month where it will display its diverse range of products that are designed to shape and speed up work on concrete construction projects. These include formliners, liquid rubbers, release agents, concrete surface retarders and surface protection products, and acidifiers for acid wash finishes.

The 45-year-old company, which has its head office and manufacturing facilities in Germany, has a representation in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Reckli looks after its customers in Saudi Arabia and in Bahrain directly through its office Reckli Arabia, which offers customers high quality products and technical support through its highly trained technical staff.

“We import bulk quantities of Reckli materials on a monthly basis into the kingdom. This enables us to sell Reckli products at the same rate as ex-Germany prices. It also means that customers do not have to maintain large stocks,” says a spokesman for the company.

Polyurethane liquid rubber, silicones, high quality release agents and epoxies are supplied to all major GRC (glass-reinforced concrete), precast concrete and gypsum manufacturers for making flexible moulds.

The spokesman points out that Reckli’s formliners system has a proven track record of more than 40 years of application throughout the world and in the GCC countries.

“Within the Reckli standard programme, we have more than 250 different patterns available in Germany. Beside this wide range, we can also manufacture in Saudi Arabia special moulds to suit our clients’ own designs. All formliners can be used over 100 times,” he says.

In addition to formliners, Reckli also manufactures concrete surface retarders and surface protection products. The various products in this category include Reckli Surface Retarder Type N (surface retarder for the negative side); Reckli Surface Retarder Type PV (surface retarder for the positive side); Reckli acidifiers (CemGel KS for an acid wash finish); and Reckli Surface Protection System (products for concrete protection).
