Saudi Build 2012

Sound footing

Foxifix ... suitable for carpet tiles.

HAVING made its first promising contacts in the region at Saudi Build last year, Foxi & Graph International will use its second visit to the exhibition to finalise its approach to working in the area.

The company has been specialising in the production of anti-slip materials for carpets and floor protectors for 35 years. Its added-value products already set the benchmark in many European markets and are the best-sellers in France and the UK, according to a spokesman for the French company.

“Foxi & Graph caters primarily to local authorities and public and commercial institutions, operating either directly or via specialists in decoration and renovation work. The company’s top-of-the-range products provide safety and comfort and are developed with a concern for protecting the environment,” says the spokesman.

The company has targeted two flagships products – Foxi Super Plus and Foxifix – for promotion at Saudi Build.

Foxi Super Plus is one of the world’s finest foam paddings, suitable for all types of flooring (hard or fabric). Patented and manufactured in France, this fibre compound is largely made from recyclable materials with a film for eliminating ‘crushing’. The foam, which is described as being extremely comfortable, prevents carpets from slipping and rippling at the same time as extending their lifetime. Sold in rolls of 30 m and a choice of widths, Foxi Super Plus is available in a pre-cut format or supplied to order.

Foxifix, meanwhile, is an insulating fixing product for carpet tiles and PVC tiles. It is patented and made in France using a brand-new differentiated coating technique, with an adhesive layer that sticks to the floor and a layer that bonds to the floor covering. Foxifix benefits from insulated bonding; it is easy to install and remove, is comfortable to walk on and is suitable for areas which have chairs with casters. Varying in thickness by 2 mm depending on the version, the felt is compatible with Bfl-s1 classified polyamide tiles.

Foxifix is available in rolls of 50 m and numerous widths and can also be supplied to measure. It is Oeko-Tex standard 100 certified and is part of the Leed (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system. In addition, it has a sound insulation of 13 dB.

“All Foxi & Graph products are compatible with Reach standards and do not emit any VOCs (volatile organic compounds),” concludes the spokesman.

Foxi & Graph International will exhibit at Stand 504, Hall 3, at Saudi Build.
