Rezayat reinforcement bars at a project..

REZAYAT Protective Coating (Rezayat Procoat), which next month marks two decades since its inception, will be exhibiting again at this year’s Saudi Build to promote its brand to international players at the show.

“In line with our ongoing efforts to gain international exposure, we will be showcasing our fusion-bonded epoxy-coated steel reinforcement bars at the show,” says Riyadh Al Homoud, general manager of the Al Khobar-based company.

Al Homoud says the company exhibited last year and received a fair response.

Rezayat specialises in fusion-bonded epoxy coating of steel reinforcement bars from 8 mm to 40 mm in diameter according to ASTM A775 standards, protecting steel rebar from corrosion and thus giving prolonged life to concrete structures. The company has a production capacity of 100,000 tonnes per annum and a facility to perform cut and bend of rebar as per the structure’s drawing schedule. It also supplies coated wire mesh and aims to provide added value wherever possible, according to Al Homoud.

Commenting on the company’s performance, he says: “Business for the company was good last year, thanks to a stable domestic market, and we aim to do better this year.”
