Coming back from a successful year of participation at the SaudiBuild 2004, Al Khobar-based Al Fozan plans to revisit the expo this December with its new range of products.
At its stand 14, Al Fozan plans to put on display its various products drawn from its four leading divisions – Al Fozan building materials, Al Fozan metals, Al Fozan electrical materials and Al Fozan hardware, says marketing manager Abdallah Katerji.
It is the importance of SaudiBuild – both regionally and locally – that has encouraged us to participate at the expo once again, he adds.
Established in 1969, Al Fozan Group started out as a single company – Al-Fozan Building Materials – committed to equalise the imbalance in demand and supply. Visionary management and total dedication to quality and customer satisfaction saw the company grow exponentially in size, reputation and product lines, says Katerji.
Firmly established as one of Saudi Arabia's leading companies, Al-Fozan's founders embarked on an ambitious diversification initiative. In 1983, Al-Fozan Electrical Materials was formed. After a brief period of consolidating its market position, the parent company took its diversification a step further, and in 1991 Al-Fozan Wood Industries came into being. This was followed up by Al-Fozan Architectural Hardware (1993) and ARC Engineering Consultants (1994). Keeping pace with market developments, 1996 saw Al-Fozan Steel Industries and Building & Construction Company start operations. In 1999 the group established Arnon Plastic Industries followed by United Transformers Electric Company (2001), United Electronics (eXtra) and Projects & Supplies (2002).
