
GE Energy put on display its latest solutions in the areas of power generation and wastewater technology at the Power-Gen Middle East 2004, which was held in Bahrain last month.
GE Jenbacher, which has recently clinched a $3.5 million deal to supply Manama Textile Mills, Bahrain with four gas engines, showcased gas engines that are known for high efficiency, low operating cost and exceptionally high reliability.
The company – which became part of GE in May last yer is considered one of the leading manufacturers of gas-fuelled reciprocating engines, packaged generator sets and cogeneration units for power generation.
Through its energy rentals unit, GE Energy is dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions to temporary power generation and temperature control requirements, ranging from 16 KW generators to 22 MW TM2500 mobile turbines. One of the products on display included the A 50 KVA GE generator.
GE also exhibited its extensive portfolio of state-of-the-art emission control technologies, emissions monitoring and thermal performance services. It also highlighted the multi-vendor services it offers for all non-GE equipment.
GE Water and Process Technologies, a leading global supplier of water, wastewater and process system solutions featured its water pre-treatment technology alongside CleanBlade – its latest technology for turbine cleaning, and water projects that can be used to produce municipal water.
