The gates come in a range of styles.

Starlee of the UK, a manufacturer of stainless steel gates, railings and furniture, has launched a range of upmarket entrance gates described as stylish, secure and long-lasting.

"Customers could be forgiven for judging on first impressions because that's exactly what Starlee entrance gates are all about," explains sales director Debbie Vathenen. "They're built to impress and to last. Constructed from grade 316 stainless steel in a mirror or satin finish, the gates are weather-proof and virtually maintenance free. The gleam that you get on day one lasts and lasts."

She continues: "Starlee's gates come in a range of styles and sizes that make them suitable for commercial and domestic settings: individual homes, gated-community and executive home developments, hotels, country clubs, office blocks, car-parks, factory and yard entrances. In fact, a Starlee gate will fit any entrance that's required to make a statement about prestige, reliability, and quiet confidence.

"Starlee gates are practical too. They're perfect for manual or automatic closing and, when securely locked, form an impressive deterrent. Best of all, an occasional wash with plain water is all it takes to retain their sparkle. There's a complementary range of stainless steel side gates, postboxes, front plates, and planters. All items are made from the same grade 316 stainless steel, and all are available in mirror or satin finish.

"Stainless steel is an environmentally-sound choice. More than 50 per cent of all new stainless steel is made from recycled materials. No paints or solvents are required to maintain the sparkle and, at the end of their long life, stainless steel gates are fully recyclable."

Starlee gates come in standard and bespoke sizes. Each gate is individually built, then hand-finished by craftsmen to achieve the smoothest of gleams, Vathenen says. Despite the attention to detail, a standard size stainless steel gate from Starlee is comparable in cost to an equivalent made from mild steel, she adds.
