YOUSEF Technical Services (YTS) is currently fabricating various kinds of steel components for Abrasive Technology Industries’ production facilities in Saudi Arabia.
The scope of works has involved fabrication of table conveyors, machining works, machine foundations and a wide range of other works at the factory, according Vargis VC, operations/sales manager of YTS.
While the company has completed the bulk of its order for ATI, it continues to be called upon for the machining of dies and special tools for the facility, he adds.
YTS is a well-reputed organisation for steel fabrication and machine shop works, sand and garnet blasting, coating, painting, and oilfield supplies. It is a major player in the kingdom’s industrial and oilfield services sector, to which it offers a comprehensive range of highly-dependable and cost-efficient services.
“We are focused on safety and quality of jobs with prompt delivery,” says Yousef Ali Al Yami, the owner and general manager of YTS.
Apart from its project at Abrasive Technology Industries, YTS is currently carrying out a SR160,000 ($42,665) contract for one of its regular clients, Schlumberger, in Dhahran and Udhaliya, involving the supply of tool racks, offshore baskets, special tooling and a variety of other fabrications.

The company has recently completed a project for Arabco at King Faisal University in Al Hasa, involving the fabrication of handrails for a chiller plant, under a contract worth SR100,000 ($26,665).
It is a vendor for Brandt, Weatherford Saudi Arabia, Three Lions Factory, Corpro Arabia, Rawabi United Safety and Path Finder Energy Service. YTS has also done projects for Al Mutlaq Inspection Services, Sapesco Saudi Arabia, Arabian Drilling Services, Precision Drilling, KMC Tools, Srak, Vetco Saudi Arabia, Hercules Offshore and Total Safety.
YTS has remained unaffected by the global financial crunch and has done well this year. It is now planning to further consolidate its position in the Saudi market by increasing its capabilities, particularly in terms of its technical expertise and services, according to Vargis.
Yousef Technical Services was established in 2001 in Thoqbah near Al Khobar in the Eastern Province. It has a large workshop to carry out fabrication jobs and a 1,000 sq m unit for sand and garnet blasting, and Diamet coating, which protects steel products from corrosion.
