Milano ... single-lever bath shower mixer .

DANUBE Group, a leading building materials company in the Middle East, has recently launched its Milano range of faucets that meet the requirements of a diverse of applications.
Described as sleek and elegant, the new range comprises 24 models to meet the needs of different market segments, with 12 of these models having been designed to cater to the projects market.
The range includes a single-lever built-in shower mixer with diverter, a wall spout and rain shower, a single-lever wash-basin mixer with brass pop-up waste, a single-lever bidet mixer with brass pop-up waste, a single-lever bath shower mixer and a kitchen sink mixer.
“With the new range, we have created products that make the bathroom not only more functional but also more beautiful,” says Anis Sajan, managing director and co-owner of the Dubai-based Danube group. “The design of the new range can satisfy the most exquisite of tastes. It has been created with the modern bathrooms/kitchens in mind, in styles and finishes that complement any décor – be it private residences, commercial properties or public utilities and also fit into different budgets.”
“All Milano faucets come with ceramic cartridge incorporating elementary grease, boosting the cartridge’s endurance to 0.5 million left-and-right cycles. The mixers are nickel-plated with minimum thicknesses ranging from 8 to 10 microns and chrome from 0.25 to 0.30 microns,” says Sajan. “The product can withstand water pressure up to 5 bars with a tap hole of 40 mm in diameter. It can also endure temperatures up to 80 deg C. The mixer aerator is made of brass to ensure the smooth flow of water and prevent splashing.”
The pop-up waste is made of chrome-plated brass in order to resist limescale attack. Brass parts of the flexible hose are chrome-plated, making it more resistant to the limescale deposits.
A five-year warranty is offered by Danube on all its mixers.
The Milano range also offers mixers in a square shape. These models are also single-lever brass mixers with a ceramic cartridge incorporating non-elementary grease, offering a cartridge endurance of 500,000 on-off cycles.
“Anyone looking for contemporary faucets should give a look to the Milano line of single-lever mixers, which is designed with modern bathrooms in mind,” says Sajan.
The company has tied up with a number of proven manufacturers from China and the Indian subcontinent to be its OEM channel partners for its exclusive Milano-Italy range.
Danube says the addition of faucets to its portfolio is in line with its vision to be a ‘one-stop-shop’ for all the requirements of all residential buildings.
A year ago, Danube also started a projects division and is actively promoting its products in the UAE and the GCC.
“As we anticipate the completion of many construction projects in the region, we are covering all fronts by strengthening our range of design and interior products, which we expect to witness significant demand once these developments approach their final construction stages,” he adds.
