Positioning itself as a key player in the hospitality sector in Dubai, Dubai Oasis, has announced plans to invest up to Dh1 billion ($272 million) in developing four serviced apartment projects in Dubai Sports City.
“Work on the first of these, Oasis Tower One, has already commenced, and will be ready for handover by late 2008,” says a spokesman for the developer.
“Oasis Tower Two, the company’s second planned project in DSC, was launched in the first week of June and will be an exclusively serviced apartment development. The company is expecting to launch two other serviced apartment projects next year.
The 18-storey Oasis Tower One will offer 232 units containing a variety of amenities that include a signature rooftop gymnasium and swimming pool along with commercial and food and beverage facilities.
Dubai Oasis claims to be the first private developer to commence construction on its project in Dubai Sports City.
“The foundation works are currently being carried out by Dutch Foundation, and full-scale construction is expected to commence shortly,” he adds.
