KM Properties will add one more tower to Dubai’s skyline with its Tamani Hotel at Park Lane, which broke ground at the heart of Business Bay last month.
Designed by world-renowned architect Carlos Ott, the aerodynamic glass and steel skyscraper features 33 storeys of commercial, recreational and hotel facilities and will use artistic lighting, which will make it look spectacular and different – by day and night, says a spokesman for the developer.
Carlos Ott brings to the project over 20 years of experience in design and construction projects, architecture and urban planning. Some of the earlier projects of Ott include: the National Bank of Dubai, National Bank of Abu Dhabi headquarters, and the Etisalat telecommunications and administration building in Abu Dhabi.
Business Bay is also the location of KM Properties’ B2B Tower, a striking blue-grey high-rise offering a unique fusion of contemporary glass and chrome materials.
Also designed by Ott, the tower is strategically designed to accentuate the view of Business Bay Creek on the south side and the Burj Dubai super-high rise tower on the north.
The 20-storey tower will offer an array of amenities, recreation and leisure facilities. Like Tamani Hotel at Park Lane, B2B Tower will also make use of a high-performance intelligent lighting system to ensure that this iconic structure is seen at its best, both day and night.
Construction of both Tamani Hotel at Park Lane and B2B Tower will be carried out by Al Rostamani Pegel, a member of the Al Rostamani Group of Companies, in partnership with the Berlin-based firm, Gustav Pegel & Sohn.
