The Jacuzzi tubs that were supplied for the Old Town project.

Jacuzzi Middle East and Faraidooni International Trading (FIT) have, in conjunction with Absolute Pools, completed the supply of 108 hot tubs to The Old Town Island project.

The project is part of the Dh73 billion ($20 billion) Downtown Burj Dubai development by Emaar Properties.
The 108 hot tubs include a mixture of the three-, four- and eight-seater round and square models and will be placed on the balconies of the luxury apartments within the development, says a spokesman for the company.
The hot tubs were lifted into position using a tower crane starting from last September. This project was handled through a tripartite relationship between Jacuzzi Middle East, the manufacturer, FIT, its local agent, and Absolute Pools who acted as a contract manager for FIT in the supply of the hot tubs.
“Both the contractor, Al Naboodah Laing O’Rourke, and consultant, Mirage Mille, have been highly impressed with the speed and efficiency of the delivery and have expressed their satisfaction with the professionalism exhibited throughout the supply process,” says the spokesman.
Robert Pearce, managing director of Jacuzzi Middle East, says: “The fact that Emaar Properties, and Mirage Mille have chosen Jacuzzi products to fit out their very high quality properties indicates very clearly our market position, and the outstanding quality and design aspects of our products.”
“These companies need to insist on the highest levels of quality and service from their suppliers, which they can be assured of from Jacuzzi. One of our senior engineers from the UK will be coming to Dubai to carry out our on-site commissioning in conjunction with the engineers to ensure everything goes smoothly.”
