Saudi Arabia's Aljomaih Holding Company has won high praise from Japan's TCM Corporation for its efforts in launching the revolutionary Acroba series of forklifts and in improving the company's market share in the kingdom.

The praise came during a visit to Saudi Arabia by two high ranking executives of the Japanese company.

The visit was also aimed at reaffirming the Japanese manufacturer's support to its authorised distributor in the kingdom.

The executives - Yasuhiro Noda, the new general manager for TCM's overall international operations, and Akira Isshiki, TCM manager for the Near and Middle East marketing department - are both based in Japan.

Accompanied by Abdullah Al-Ali, Aljomaih's heavy and agricultural equipment division general manager, sales manager Mohammed Abdullah AlRafieq and other sales engineers, the two Japanese executives visited major customers to reaffirm their continuous after-sales support for their products.

During their stay in Riyadh, the Japanese visitors focused discussions on the new design of the TCM Acroba series, which moves sideward and can turn around its vertical axis with a zero turning radius.

TCM and Aljomaih will also showcase the new space-saving, innovative forklift design at SaudiBuild 2002 in Riyadhthis month (October 13-17).

"The new Acroba series, 1.5 to 4 tonne- capacity, improves storage capacity of a warehouse from 10 to 30 per cent through its straight sideways movement and pivot turns. It requires less turning allowance and therefore improves turnaround time and productivity. It significantly reduces physical fatigue caused by long time consecutive operation through its unique swivel seat and improved rear visibility," says Al Ali.

Aljomaih Holding Company represents TCM in Saudi Arabia and provides prompt and efficient after-sales service with well-stocked parts department and well-equipped workshop. Aljomaih sells the full range of TCM products including diesel, petrol, LPG and electric forklift trucks, together with their attachments.
