"We started work on this prestigious project, worth Dh1.6 million ($436,000), in May last year and finished the job in October. Sirji Building Contracting specialises in trading and fixing of marble, granite, limestone and ceramics.

''The company has gained a reputation not only as a professional marketing organisation but also as a firm capable of providing consulting, design, supply, fixing and supervision and commissioning, back up and maintenance services,'' he says.

It has been carried out projects at the Dubai Women's Higher College of Technology, Al Attar Shopping Centre in Dubai, Al Tawoon Shopping Mall, Al Khaleej Centre, Twin Towers and Commercial Bank Building, all in Dubai.

In addition, the company has been involved with a number of other prestigious projects in the region such as Sharjah International Airport, Doha International Airport and Gold Centre in Sharjah, The company says it has diversified to cater to other needs of the industry.

One of its division, Aromatic Fibreglass, is involved in the production of fibreglass products such as domestic and industrial tanks, sheds and shades, sanitary products, general-purpose furniture, construction moulds, drainage systems and custom-made products.

"We have highly qualified technical/design and manufacturing team which coupled with some of the finest European raw materials enables us to provide the Gulf market with a variety of high quality products," says the spokesman.
