Mammut Technocrete has recently landed mega deals in the UAE, which will help it reassert itself in the booming precast sector of the emirate.

Close on the heels of winning a Dh620 million ($168.83 million) from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) for the construction, completion and maintenance of 180-million-gallon reservoirs in Mushrif, Dubai, Mammut Technocrete has secured the contract for the largest reservoir in the world.
"Another project that has won us laurels is the Dubai Waterfront project by Nakheel, work on which is progressing in full swing," says Siamak Motemavelian, Mammut's group marketing manager.
Mammut Contracting and the recently-formed joint venture Mammut Boegl have been assisting Mammut Technocrete in executing these newly-awarded projects, says Motemavelian.
“Although we are the trendsetters in our sector, we have never compromised when it comes to client requirements and servicing," he says.
He adds: “Our priority lies in the safety with which our workforce manufactures the products and meets our delivery deadlines. We constantly review our safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the smooth-running of our operations.
“We believe that the safety of our workers is a huge responsibility and it comes before our company’s interests. We encourage individuals to come up with safety suggestions as this will create more awareness within our staff.
“Over the years, we have seen a few technologies that have transformed the construction sector,” Motemavelian continues. “At Mammut Technocrete, we are looking to revolutionise the construction sector using new technologies that can help minimise project duration.
He explains: “We firmly believe that considering the dynamic nature of the industry, it is important to be versatile and keep pace with the latest innovations. Given the growing pressure to implement projects on a fast track, several of the region's contractors are looking towards the precast industry to speed up work onsite. We have also helped resolve manpower problems that face contractors.
“In line with the demands placed by our ongoing expansion, our team has been strengthened with experienced personnel from the precast industry. Our team is focused on achieving the desired results and striving to be the leader always. We continuously provide in-house training to update our staff with the latest technology and get our engineers and technical people trained from Germany.”
Mammut Technocrete expects its production capacity to double once phase two of its expansion comes online, enabling it to participate in a larger number of projects.
“With so much happening in so little time, it shows how we are geared towards the future to fulfil the industry needs. With our competitive pricing and expertise in technical understanding, we are bound to be the only choice let alone the first choice,” Motemavelian concludes.
