Australia’s Radcrete Pacific has appointed Wadi Rum Décor as its exclusive distributor in the UAE.

The agreement will give Wadi Rum Décor rights to market Radcon Formula #7 waterproofing product through the country.
Radcon #7 is claimed to be the world’s only sub-surface waterproofing membrane to have several advantages over traditional waterproofing methods.
Radcon, which is spray applied to finished concrete, forms a waterproof barrier within the top 20 mm of the concrete structure. According to Wadi Rum Décor owner, Ali Bushnaq, “this gives Radcon #7 several inherent advantages over traditional membranes. It cannot be damaged on site by other contractors, and it does not need a protective screed, so it is not only doing a great waterproofing job, but lowering overall project costs.”
“Another major feature is the advantage it offers local contractors because of time savings in applying Radcon as opposed to traditional membranes.
“This feature will be a big advantage in this market,” says Bushnaq, who is also impressed with the capability of Radcon #7 to resist extreme hydrostatic water pressure and abrasion when used to treat exposed concrete surfaces such as quay walls along waterfronts.
