Al Tawi Ready Mix Concrete and Cement Products Company, which is currently setting up a new branch in the King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in Rabigh, was recently visited by concrete cooling equipment specialist KTI German, which provided the ice plant for the new facility.
The leading Saudi Arabia-based readymix concrete manufacturer’s new branch office in KAEC is designed to meet the demands set by the tremendous developments taking place in the new economic city, and follows the establishment of another facility in Riyadh.
The German delegation headed by KTI’s executive chairman Robert Plersch visited Al Tawi’s offices for the first time where they were received by Al Tawi’s general manager Saeed Ahmed Al Tawi as well as the top management and department heads and managers. During the tour the KTI team inspected the operations of the ice plants both in Jeddah and in KAEC.
Its ice flake plant offers a technique to control the temperature of the concrete mix, especially for high early-strength mix design during the summer season and is very useful in the hot climate of the Gulf countries. The KTI ice plant produces large quantities of ice flakes that are used in the cooling process.
