Land filling and marine works complete at the Mina Al Arab.

land filling and marine works at Mina Al Arab have been completed.

The Dh10 billion ($2.72 billion) Mina Al Arab is a mixed-use development complete with waterways, wetlands, resort hotels and residences spread over an area of 30 million sq ft along Ras Al Khaimah’s beachfront.
“With works currently going on in full swing, we will be able to complete the various phases of the project as per schedule and meet the time lines set for hand over,” said Mohamed Sultan Al Qadi, managing director and CEO of RAK Properties, the project’s developer.
Composed of a beachfront strip and a group of islands, Mina Al Arab will have themed resort hotels and two eco-hotels that will add an estimated 3,500 rooms for tourists and visitors. In addition, there will be a cluster of 3,500 residential units, mainly Bora Bora hotel units, and standard apartments.
RAK Properties is also developing two other projects – the Dh500 million Julfar Towers in Ras Al Khaimah and the Dh300 million RAK towers in Abu Dhabi.
