Bahrain Bay, the $2.5 billion landmark waterfront community located in the heart of Manama, has awarded a BD22 million ($58.35 million) infrastructure contract to Ahmed Mansoor Al A’ali (AMA), the leading regional infrastructure group.

The contract will see the construction of key elements of Bahrain Bay’s infrastructure such as its road networks, water network, sewage, storm drainage and irrigation water networks, as well as its telecommunications installation system and bridge network.
AMA will create more than 6 km of road network, over 4.5 km of storm drainage and a 5 km telecommunications installation system.
AMA will also build the four main bridges of Bahrain Bay, all of which connect key components of the project and the Manama foreshore.
