Saudi Arabia’s Altaiseer Aluminium Factory has embarked on an expansion which will see the company add a fourth extrusion line at a cost of SR45 million (12 million).

A major equipment supplier from Germany has been awarded the contract to design, manufacture, supply and install the new line, according to vice president Nasser Al Fattouh.
“The new state-of-the-art line will have an annual capacity of more than 45,000 tonnes and be integrated with the existing lines,” he says. “It will become operational by mid-2008.”
Altaiseer undertook the expansion to cater to the growing demand for quality architectural aluminium products from its local and international clientele across the Middle East and Europe.
The Riyadh-based company’s manufacturing standards conform to BSI, ISO 9001-2000,  Qualicoat, Qualanod, Saso (Saudi Arabian Standards Organisation) and other international standards.
Altaiseer has also been active in the Qatar market recently, supplying over 1,000 tonnes of aluminium extrusions for prestigious projects such as the Sport City Tower,  Al Seal Tower, Dolphin Tower,  Regency Tower, Al Nasr Twin Tower and Laffan Tower.
